FIRST ASSIGNMENT
Sometimes you need to differenciate some activities because there are several types of learners. Consequently, we have to accommodate the topics to their abilities by giving them similar tasks to reach the same aim. Thus, an activity using differenciation might consist on giving a child an entirely different piece of text to read, or shorten the text or alter it, and/or modify the writing assignment that follows, depending on the type learner and activity.
·ACTIVITY BY
SCAFFOLDING
Scaffolding an activity consists on going step by step until you accomplish your aim. It is breaking up the learning into chunks and then providing a tool, or structure, with each chunk. An activity using scaffolding could consist on, for example, the teacher previewing the text and discussing the key or difficult vocabulary within the text.
